Ryan and Gill

Well everyone, it’s been an amazing ride on the Bare Naked App Express. Thank you for joining us along the journey. Gill and I have sure enjoyed sharing all of the victories, defeats, and craziness that has gone along with building Amigo.

We’ve decided it’s time to focus on growing Amigo and really making it fly. In light of that, we’re going to stop posting to BNA and focus 100% on that.

Thanks so much for cheering us along - we couldn’t have done it without you!

(Thanks to Shaun Inman for the photo)

  1. Is there going to be another Amigo blog somewhere else?

Practically every web 2.0 start up has a blog - they’re a great way to get a “feel” for the people behind a company.

Seems odd to kill this when I expect there’s plenty more development work to come - scaling etc.

  8. Pweese don’t shut it down. There’s a lot more to the app than just building and launching it. You guys have a long way to go with the marketing and scaling process, and we don’t wanna miss it!

  9. Agree with everyone who wants BNA to keep going. Its a bit addictive - in a webapp / startup / west wing / kind of way.

The high & lows, the setbacks, the workarounds, the pressure to launch, the nerves on launch day. Thats why people love to be in startups and love to follow them.

    BNA captures all that.

I think you might have created a whole new way to create pre-launch buzz. There is a business in itself.

    Good luck.

  14. I just discovered this blog. Please don’t take it down, even if you don’t post to it anymore (which would also be a shame).

This blog should at least remain up so that late-comers like me can still benefit from the information you’re sharing.
