Ryan has ditched the old PC laptop he talked about struggling with during the building of DropSend (in his Web Apps on a budget presentation) for a nice shiny iMac! :-)

Actually, my main machine is a small VAIO. The iMac is used for testing. However, Gill and Lisa have brand spanking new MacBooks, and I’m super jealous :)

I don't know about the banking system there, but we have special numbers that go along with our account numbers that allow deposits, but not withdrawals. They call it ACH, and it allows direct deposit into any US bank account. It's very efective, and I'm fairly positive you could get some sort of API or plugin written to interface between your bank and US banks, or you could just open a US bank account for the US customers and use ACH for them.
